Of course. With a discussion board, we can help one another and solve many problems, I think.

Good to know that you like the idea. But I would like to know you opinion about the folloing

1. Now date/time settings state GMT+2 ( Minsk time ). What time is the best to state for most visitors?
2. Currently the dissusion board is visible for registered visitors only ( others can not see the link to it ) What is you opnion about?

Hello, it's really good idea.
And it's always helpfull then sharing info between colleagues

Date/time settings is not really matter which time you'll choose for settings. It's just to be very clear what tim it is.

OK. I'll leave it as it is.- for me, in Minsk and for you, in Lithuania, it's very easy to calculate null hours difference between the web servers' local time and our own local time :-)

by the way, another question. Is it useful if the discussion board will indicate if the visitor is collector or dealer or a publisher? Also is it OK if emails of registered users can be visible for other registered users?

I like the idea of an open forum for 'registered' guests. I have no problem sharing my e-mail address with other guests of the forum. Although I live in the United States, I can sometimes be available at any hour of the day for discussion - usually on Friday or Saturday. I will just check in from time to time to see if anyone is online.

Yes, Discussion board will be of great use to exchange information and questions.
Registration allows only serious people involved and it is fine with the transparency of others email ids too.

The matter is that e-mails where provided on registration for authorization purpose only and therefore it's not correct to publish them without addidional request if a registered visitor doesn't mind it.

If you like, I can introduce personal pages for all registered visitors, where they may select if they like to make their e-mail visible for other users or not. If it's OK I may try to do it next weekend with any additional functions if a need - say a list of personal collecting intersts or anything like that.
