| It was with some degree of anger and frustration that I read on your website about Blues Piano Revealed's "discovery" and dissemination of "rare" clips of Vince Guaraldi performing. These clips are from my late father Ralph J. Gleason's 1960s television series Jazz Casual; they have been available on home video for almost 20 years. Additionally, they are copyrighted works, to which I control the copyrights and which Blues Piano Revealed had no authorization or permission to post on the internet in any way. Especially with erroneous information disseminated with it. Further, there is a multiple award winning feature length documentary film on Guaraldi, which not only includes a lot more Guaraldi performance footage, but additional footage of actual musicians who recorded with Vince and this documentary is having a difficult time finding a distributor because, why should a distributor pay money for a film, when portions of it are already available on the internet, for free, but without authorization. It is just such actions as those of Blues Piano Revealed that are keeping the jazz buying public from further rare footage of Guaraldi becoming available.
