Final spurt in the last months of the year at the locations of Messe München

An eventful trade fair year in Munich is slowly coming to an end. However, the Messe München Locations will be busy once again in the last months of 2019 with trade fairs, public exhibitions, congresses and regular and new customers: the portfolio of events at Messe München, the ICM – Internationales Congress Center München, the MOC Veranstaltungscenter and the Conference Center Nord will, as always, be very diversified.

The "final guest event spurt" in the exhibition halls will start from October 8 to 11, 2019 when the international airport industry gathers again in Munich. That's because, in addition to the three exhibition halls B5, B6 and C6, the 22nd inter airport Europe will again occupy a large section of the outdoor area there – a hallmark of the world's leading trade fair for this sector during which the areas of terminal equipment, IT solutions and airport architecture will be presented along with heavy ground handling equipment for airport aprons.

The program will then continue seamlessly: for example, Messe München will play host to the well-known public exhibition The Munich Show – Mineralientage München from October 25 to 27, 2019. With a total exhibition area of 50,000 square meters in halls A4 to A6 and B5 and B6, more than 1,250 exhibitors and a good 40, 000 visitors, the event is Europe's largest exhibition for minerals, fossils, gemstones and jewellery.

Europe's largest conference for business travel, GBTA – Global Business Travel Association, has chosen a combined use of the new hall C6 and the Conference Center Nord from November 19 to 21, 2019. The event brings together travel professionals and the leading industry providers and will occupy this location for the first time.

Colorful mixture in the ICM
A good old acquaintance will be a guest in the ICM on November 6 and 7, 2019 when the Fujitsu Forum is staged once again. This event enables business and IT managers from all over the world to exchange ideas and opinions on how innovative digital solutions are changing the economy and society. The topic this year will be "Human Centric Innovation – Driving a Trusted Future".

The ICM will welcome a new customer in NI Days Europe on November 20 and 21, 2019. This event is regarded as the leading conference for automated testing and as a meeting point for experts from the field of measurement technology.

Only a few days later BIM World Munich, the largest platform for digitalization in the construction industry, will occupy the entire ICM on November 26 and 27, 2019. The congress with a related exhibition will feature a large number of workshops and a specialist conference on digitalization trends in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry.

Another première will take place from December 15 to 18, 2019 with the ICIS Congress, the International Conference on Information Systems. This event is expected to attract around 1,500 IS scientists from more than 400 universities from around the world.

Regular customers rely on the MOC
A large number of well-established events are expected in the MOC Veranstaltungscenter in the last months of the year. For example, Augmented World Expo Europe will be held there for the third time on October 17 and 18, 2019. It is regarded as Europe's most important event for augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR).

Just under one week later on October 23 and 24, 2019, Research and Results will be staged again in Munich-Freimann. This event is a trade fair for the national and international market research industry. It is one of the world's top three events in its segment and is highly regarded as a contact forum where exhibitors and customers from the industry can get to know one another.

SPIELWIESN and FORSCHA have almost a home game in the MOC. From November 15 to 17, 2019 it will be that time again for discovery and inventions at FORSCHA, and for game playing and tactical maneuvering at SPIELWIESN. Just under 300 exhibitors will present the latest game and experimentation trends to over 42, 000 visitors.

There will also be another première at the end of the year when the Annual Conference of the German Spinal Column Society is held in the MOC for the first time. The event will be held under the motto "Change into the future".
