| Materialdistrict Rotterdam  MaterialDistrict (formerly Material Xperience) is the leading material innovation event for R&D and design professionals and takes place from 12-14 March 2019 in Rotterdam Ahoy, the Netherlands.A number of well-known brands introduce their new material innovations during MaterialDistrict Rotterdam to the public. Over 150 material manufacurers exhibit their novelties in six sectors (Architecture, Interiors, Urban & Landscapes, Products, Textiles & Fabrics and Print & Sign). The 'state of the art' is exactly what you will find while visiting MaterialDistrict Rotterdam 2019. Independent expos This year, visitors can look forward to an impressive six independent MaterialDistrict exhibitions, one in each sector(Architecture, Interiors, Urban & Landscapes, Products, Textiles & Fabrics and Print & Sign). In collaboration with the ambassadors, six pavilions will be decorated, in which special exhibition pieces of start-ups and designers will be showcased. A carpet made of palm leather, fashion made of coffee textile, 'green' graffiti, façades made of thinglass, denim furniture, and communicating façades are just a few examples that will expand the imagination of visitors. And of course, MaterialDistrict will also display the 200 newest materials from its independent collection; printed roof tiles, a composite material made of marble dust and oysters, paving stones made from burned waste, as well as 197 other innovations that can all be seen, felt and experienced at the fair. Sensational lecture programme MaterialDistrict is known for her sensational lecture programme in which reputable (inter)national architects, scientists, designers and other experts share their latest material developments and visions with the public.
