Fenestration Bau China highlights in the supporting program

Alongside the presentations by the exhibitors, Fenestration Bau China 2017 has plenty more to offer. The program of trade events accompanying the show focuses on the future of the Chinese building industry, covers topical themes and offers significant added value to exhibitors and visitors. Held right in the heart of the show this program of events is free to trade-fair participants. Here´s an overview of the conferences, forums and networking platforms that will be taking place before and at Fenestration Bau China.

Fenestration Days China
Taking place ahead of the event itself, is Fenestration Days China, on November 5 and 6, 2017. This event has over the years established a reputation for itself in Asia as the platform for the latest technologies and trends in windows and doors. In 2017 also national and international experts will again be presenting insights and solutions for window and door systems, organized into four different theme blocks.

Talk to Architects
In the program item "Talk to Architects", taking place on the first day of the show, are the two events: Annual Conference of the Architectural Society of Shanghai China and the High-End Hotel Breakthrough and Innovation Forum. At both events architects present current projects and invite open discussions on the subject of buildings. Also part of Talk to Architects is the WA Architecture Forum, on November 8. Throughout the day there will be a series of half-hour lectures by highly regarded Chinese architects on the subject of urban planning.

Talk to Distributors
In 2017 the China Construction Metal Structure Association is again offering an event called "Talk to Distributors". Held on November 7, this is an opportunity to talk to specialists from leading distributors about business models and future prospects.

Talk to Developers: Forum - Prefabricated Building and Real Estate Development
The subject of prefabricated building is anchored in the 13th Five Year Plan of the Chinese government. And it is getting a lot of attention in the Chinese building sector. By 2020 the number of buildings made from prefabricated components in China is predicted to rise to 20 percent. And for the first time as part of Fenestration Bau China there will be a Prefabricated Building and Real Estate Development Forum, on November 7. At this newly created platform building professionals will be able to gather information on the latest standards and trends in prefabricated construction. Designed as a networking event, it also serves to create international cooperation opportunities. Lectures will be given by key representatives from industry and government.

ATI Forum
The successful and exclusive presentation platform ATI Forum will take place on November 8. As in past years, this is a place for presentation of construction solutions that in terms of application are connected with the concepts and ideas of Fenestration Bau China. As in 2016, the ATI Forum has again attracted a prominent partner in the shape of ift Rosenheim, an institute that will be delivering a special contribution on the subject of windows, doors and facades.
