“Düsseldorf Fashion Sourcing” in parallel with tag it!

For the first time, Chinatex Advertising & Exhibition (CTEC) will be organising a trade fair on the topic of fashion sourcing to be held in parallel with the forthcoming tag it! from 29 to 31 July 2015. While tag it! concentrates on private labels in the shoe segment, with the new Düsseldorf Fashion Sourcing (DFS) event Chinatex will, for the first time, be showcasing select producers and suppliers of clothing and textiles. This additional trade fair offering means tag it! can meet the growing demands from many visitors – now also directing its range at fashion clothing buyers from wholesale and major department stores.

"In Chinatex we have found a competent partner that is fully behind the new Düsseldorf Fashion Sourcing event. Especially in its function as organiser of Japan's Asia Fashion Fair, Chinatex boasts many years of experience and know-how in the field of private label shows for clothing and textiles. This means we can extend the range at tag it! in a meaningful way, " said Kirstin Deutelmoser, Director of GDS and tag it! at Messe Düsseldorf commenting on Chinatex's new offering at tag it!.

Düsseldorf Fashion Sourcing is an independent event to be held in the halls of tag it! It will present selected suppliers from throughout the world. In addition to targeting tag it! trade visitors the range is also aimed at buyers for fashion labels from both retail and wholesale as well as major department stores. tag it! itself is held in Düsseldorf every year in February and July in parallel to GDS – Global Destination for Shoes & Accessories – and picks up on the private label theme in the shoe segment. tag it! is scheduled at the end of the information and at the start of the order process. Here buyers can place orders in a targeted manner at just the right time. Concurrence with the leading GDS fair produces synergies for international retail as most trading companies stock both private label and manufacturer brands.
