The fitness event of the year: FIBO makes fitness fans leap with joy

On the weekend, everyone's welcome, from shopping queens to calorie fighters – as long as they can get a hold of one of the coveted FIBO tickets for private visitors. Awaiting attendees in the FIBO PASSION area is everything the heart desires, from sports apparel and accessories to sports nutrition and wellness products to fitness travel. Alternatively, watch the pros work up a sweat or feel free to try out the latest fitness, martial arts, acrobatics and dance trends.

The Fitness Mall: shopping at FIBO
FIBO PASSION ShoppingReebok, Venice Beach, Zumba and Intersport featuring adidas and Puma – all the major sports apparel brands exhibit at FIBO PASSION. Visitors can look forward to countless deals. In addition, the latest collections, like Reebok's line of running shoes, will be introduced here. Making its debut will be Boxeur Des Rue – which literally translates to "street boxer". The brand draws inspiration from the French "savate" style of boxing and sells a mix of streetwear and sportswear. FIBO 2015 will also see the debut of the show's own Fan Collection. Hoodies, trousers and T-Shirts as well as sports bags, towels and many more items boasting the FIBO and FIBO POWER look will be available for purchase. Look for the FIBO Collection Shop at Stand A30 in Hall 5 and in Hallway 2-4.

Group fitness with fun factor
Fitness, dancing and shows on the FIBO PASSION stage and at the exhibition stands: FIBO PASSION delivers action as far as the eye can see. On tap will be new dance workouts such as 4STREATZ und BAILARO, long-time international favourites such as Zumba and Piloxing, and functional concepts such as Catslide and Core Momentum Training. Another highlight: slacklining world champions will take the stage to prove their skills. The dance workouts 4STREATZ and BAILARO offer a great way to dance your heart out. 4STREATZ develops a choreography with dance elements from hip-hop, jazz, salsa, house and aerobics. It combines four components into one workout: nonstop fun, nonstop music, nonstop dance and nonstop fat-burning. The entertainment fitness concept BAILARO incorporates a varied repertoire of dance and music styles from the world's ultimate party scenes. Anyone from young to old is sure to discover their passion in one of the moves borrowed from dance styles ranging from 50s to Tecktonic, hip-hop and more while being able to identify with a diverse spectrum of music genres.

FIBO PASSION is also a great place to see celebrities, including Fernanda Brandao with her GINGA workout and the current Mr. and Mrs. Germany.

The hottest trends in fitness
At FIBO PASSION, getting visitors actively involved is just as important off-stage as on. Join-in activities include Baristi Workouts, the calisthenics fitness trend and street workout routines. Several competitions will be staged. Baristi Workout will present the "King of the Bar Battle" 2015 at 2 pm on Saturday, 11 April, and the "Queen of the Bar Battle" on Sunday, 12 April 2015. The Power Competition will also be held on Sunday. Athletes will do battle on the bar to see how their strength, creativity and incredible moves measure up against the competition.

Win a fitness photo shoot
Taking place again at FIBO will be a Men's Health photo shoot, giving visitors a chance to proof their modelling skills. After the trade fair, the best participants will be photographed for a workout picture series in the magazine.

Cycling Festival
FIBO PASSION Cycling FestivalHot beats, impressive lighting effects, top-of-the-line spinning bikes and renowned international presenters: all indoor cycling enthusiasts are invited to attend the 11th Cycling Festival at FIBO hosted by Pure Emotion. Six courses from the beginner to the instructor level on FIBO Saturday promise loads of fun for individual racers and teams of up to five people. On FIBO Sunday, ambitious individual racers with experience and good endurance will get a chance to put the pedal to the medal in a four-hour marathon.

30 Years of FIBO: the big party
Let's celebrate the trade fair's anniversary in style at the first open-to-all FIBO party at the DIE HALLE Tor 2 venue on Saturday night, 11 April. The former factory building from the 1950s has been repurposed as a modern event location in the western part of Cologne. Guest can look forward to the King Kamehameha Club Band, a DJ and a huge fitness community.
