Middle East Growth Will Be Fueled by Innovation

From March 3 - 5, Dubai will be a hotbed of new ideas. Everything from e-learning to mobile health and renewable energy is up for discussion at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University 2014 7th Innovation Arabia Conference, hosting a dynamic audience of over 600 international innovators, policy-makers and scholars.

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University – the first Smart University in the UAE – seeks to advance the work of Arab innovators at their 2014 Conference "Leading Transformation to Sustainable Excellence, " an ambitious attempt to address some of the most pressing issues facing the business, healthcare, e-learning and traditional education fields around the world.

The conference is taking place from March 3 - 5, 2014, at the Atlantis, The Palm Hotel in Dubai, home to the region's most important startup summit and key tech investors. It hosts experts and visitors from Middle East and worldwide. The accompanying Exhibition attracts exhibitors from all around the world.

The 7th Innovation Arabia encompasses three international conferences, the Quality Conference, the E-Learning Excellence Conference and the Health and Environment Conference. Some of those the conferences will feature are H.E. Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, Founder and Chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization; H.E. Saeed Al Tayer, Managing Director & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, Dr. Larry Johnson, CEO of the New Media Consortium in US; H.E. Prof. Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz-Al-Mosa, President of Saudi e-University.

"The Conference 2014 offers an important opportunity to initiate a healthy scientific debate in the fields of E-Learning, e-Health and Quality while throwing spotlight on this year's theme of sustainable excellence, " according to University Chancellor Dr. Mansoor Al Awar. The event features a series of policy and strategy roundtables, plenary and scientific sessions and post-conference workshops as well as present awards for 'Best Paper' and 'Best Presentation' during the course of three-days.

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University's 7th Innovation Arabia Conference is a platform to discuss key topics, debates of relevance to the region, to present new innovative ideas and share best practices. Every year, the congress attracts over 600 participants that merges academicians and professionals from more than 60 countries world-wide.

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University – the first Smart University in the UAE and the organizer of the Congress – was established in 2002 as a passionate response to the aspirations of a new Arab generation, with an emphasis on e-learning as the future of education and empowerment in the region.
