Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics, Spring edition

A strong lineup of exhibitors from Asia awaits visitors to Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition 2014. A large number of country / region pavilions and zones have already confirmed. Europe is also well represented by the Milano Unica Pavilion from Italy, and pavilions from Germany and Portugal. The fair is due to take place from 3 – 5 March 2014 at the new location, Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center in halls 1, 2 and 4.

The largest concentration of Asian exhibitors will be in the Korea Pavilion, jointly organized by Korea Fashion Textile Association (KFTA) and Korea Textile Trade Association (KTTA), with over 50 companies taking part. The predominant products in this pavilion will be fancy items for high-fashion use and various functional fabrics. Over 40 exhibitors will also feature in the Taiwan Pavilion, with high-quality cotton, denim, jacquard, knit, lace, polyester, spandex, wool-blended, embroidered and woven fabrics, as well as accessories, on display.

In the Japan Zone, buyers will be able to find nearly 20 exhibitors of high-quality cotton, knitted, man-made and silk fabrics, as well as fabric design and textile technology firms. And the Pakistan Pavilion, organised by the Commercial Section of the Embassy of Pakistan, contains seven exhibitors of cotton fabrics for casual wear and jeanswear.

While these areas are returning again to the spring edition, the new India Pavilion will make their debut at the show. After the success of previous Autumn Editions, The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council (Texprocil) will host a pavilion for Indian exhibitors at the Spring Edition for the first time.

SalonEurope returns again to the 2014 fair, and will once more feature the Milano Unica Pavilion from Italy. Around 120 high-end fabrics and accessories firms will take part in this invitation-only pavilion. Pavilions from Germany and Portugal will also feature as European suppliers continue to take advantage of the strong demand for their products in China.

In addition to apparel fabrics and accessories, the Yarn Expo Pavilion will offer a wdie range of yarns and fibres. Exhibitors from China and overseas will be present in this pavilion.
