Messe Düsseldorf prepares for the premiere in Sao Paolo

From 01 to 03 October 2013, wire South America is being held for the first time in parallel with Tubotech – 7th International Trade Fair for Pipes, Valves, Fittings and Components at the Imigrantes Exposicoes exhibition grounds in Sao Paulo.

With a gross domestic product of approximately USD 2,500 billion (2011), Brazil is the sixth-largest economy of the world. Thus the conditions for events such as wire South America und Tubotech are promising. According to a report by gtai (Germany Trade and Invest), the strong economic situation of Brazil's construction, automotive and household electronics industries leads to a significantly increasing need for wire, cable and tube products. The expansion of the infrastructure, the boom in the construction industry, rising investments into capital goods as well as the excellent market situation of the consumer goods industry are generating strong impulses.

There already is increasing demand for display area. The trade fair presents technologies and services from the segments of wire and cable production and finishing, process technology tools and auxiliary materials, measurement and control technology as well as test engineering. Tubotech, which already attracted more than 18,000 trade visitors in 2011, shows an overview from tube production and processing to tube machining and provides information on the tube trade.

To Brazil and its neighbours, wire South America and Tubotech present an excellent information opportunity on their own continent and offer international exhibitors a gateway to the most important and most interesting and South American market.
