Kids' Programme at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf

Even the youngest get their money's worth at this year's Caravan Salon Düsseldorf from 31 August to 8 September 2013. As in recent years, a fabulous programme awaits the wee ones among the visitors, complete with numerous activities, plenty of fun and play, and lots of highlights.

Adventure Park from the Düsseldorf Sports Association
The Düsseldorf Sports Association will be transforming a section of the open-air area into an exciting adventure park. Children will have plenty of opportunities to let off steam thanks to a wide variety of fun and sports activities. The 6.5-metre climbing wall features four routes that lead upward with varying levels of difficulty. Alternatively, children can scale six metres of rope. There is also a four-metre high boulder wall that features a special obstacle that can only be surmounted by climbing one metre upside down in a horizontal direction. It's tight, dark and spooky in the 30-metre long labyrinth, through which the kids must find their way without light, using only their sense of touch. Last but not least, there's an oversized inflatable castle, on which the little ones can jump and tumble to their heart's content.

Street Soccer Arena for Tomorrow's Football Stars
One brand-new highlight is the Street Soccer Arena, in which tomorrow's football stars of all ages can demonstrate their prowess. "Real" street soccer players are challenged to kick their way to fame on the AstroTurf in teams of four to eight players. This trend sport is played on mobile fields with borders and AstroTurf and is loved by children and adolescents alike.

Professional Childcare
Once again this year, the educators from the Workers Welfare Institution are offering childcare for children four years and older at the North Entrance, so that the grownups can have peace of mind while perusing the halls. There are plenty of games and activities for the kids, including arts and crafts, and they can have themselves made up.
