Materials Handling Middle East 2013

A growing number of international materials handling companies and logistics service providers are interested in doing business in the countries of the GCC region. This is underlined by their increased presence at the region's leading trade event for the materials handling and supply chain industry, Materials Handling Middle East 2013.

Organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt is expecting the majority of the major players to be represented at Materials Handling Middle East 2013 which will take place from 10th to 12th September at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. They also announced a significant increase in representation from key countries.

"With the Middle East gaining in stature as a leading market for the materials handling and supply chain industries, Materials Handling Middle East 2013 is seeing a growing amount of international interest, " said Ahmed Pauwels, CEO of Epoc Messe Frankfurt. "This year's exhibition will see stronger representation from leading European and Asian players as well as a greater emphasis on the latest technological innovations that are set to alter the way the industry does business today, " he said.

The German Pavilion at Materials Handling Middle East 2013 will experience a five fold increase since the last edition in 2011 and will feature some of the major players in the market. The Chinese Pavilion will also be considerably larger than last time around. This year a number of logistics and cargo handling companies will showcase their products in the pavilion which will be 2.5 times larger than at the previous edition.

Materials Handling Middle East 2013 will showcase a broad spectrum of the latest developments and trends shaping the materials handling and supply chain sectors. The exhibition attracts a large representation of international manufacturers, suppliers and retailers looking to expand their footprint into the Middle East.

Visitors to the event include a range of representatives from wholesalers & retailers, importers & exporters, 3rd party logistic companies, supply chain companies, warehousing companies, freight & cargo companies, free zones, distribution equipment & service companies, government bodies, manufacturers, ports & airports, road transport companies, shipping lines, builders/contractors and construction companies. The exhibition features four major product areas: Materials Handling & Lifting Equipment; Logistics and Postal Services Providers; Value added Logistics Services and Warehousing Equipment.
