Texworld fully booked for the September show

All the stands at Texworld (16-19 September 2013,Paris,France) have been booked, three months before the winter show! By the end of last February's show, many firms had already rebooked, encouraged by orders placed with them and new contacts they had made. Asian exhibitors who were prevented from attending in February by Chinese New Year are all returning. New registrations from all over the globe flooded in from early March onwards and only halted in mid-May! The end of May and the show is fully booked!

The exhibition will host almost 810 weavers from 24 countries with a comprehensive offer ranging from entry-level to very high-end. Texworld, as all textile exhibitions organised by Messe Frankfurt throughout the world, responds to the demands of fashion professionals, who value these exhibitions, as they reflect the real situation in the textiles market and industry.

The ranking of the five principle exhibitor countries remains unchanged: China is still first, followed by Turkey, in second place since last February's show. South Korea remains third; Taiwan is fourth, closely followed by India in fifth place.

The new exhibitors come predominantly from textile-producing countries. South Korea, China, India, Japan, Hong Kong and Turkey will be unveiling their new collections for winter 2015 next September.

September's exhibition will represent a new stage in the history of Texworld. Apart from changes to the hall, the ranges by sector (men's - women's - casual/sportswear) have been reviewed and reorganised according to the large family of end uses in order to make visiting the exhibition and buying easier. The three domains have thus been restructured and renamed:

· Functional Fabrics will become Functional & Sportswear where you will find all the technical and functional materials.

· Cotton Attractive Spirit will become Cotton & Blends A.S. where cotton and cotton blends for womenswear will be grouped together.

· Cotton Casual View will be Cotton & Blends C.V. from now on, where cotton and all cotton-based blends for unisex casual wear will be grouped. The names of the other sectors remain unchanged.
