| The American Coatings Show named one of the Top 250 Trade Shows of 2012  The American Coatings SHOW and CONFERENCE has been named one of the "Top 250 Trade Shows of 2012" in the United States by Trade Show News Network (TSNN). The AC 2012 SHOW and CONFERENCE made its debut appearance on the annually published list, ranking #202 of 250.The 2012 Top 250 Trade Shows represents the top 250 trade shows held last year in the United States, ranked by net square footage. The full list of honorees can be viewed here: http://www.tsnn.com/toplists-us The 2012 Top 250 Trade Shows ranking is the second major trade show industry recognition for the 2012 AC SHOW and CONFERENCE. The 2012 event was also recognized as one of the "50 Fastest Growing Trade Shows in the U.S." by Trade Show Executive magazine in two of the possible categories: Net Square Feet of Exhibit Space and Number of Exhibitors. The American Coatings Association (ACA) was elated to have the event honored for the second time in one year. ACA President Andy Doyle commented on the honor, "ACA has always taken pride in the success of this event. We are thrilled to see that the show is being recognized for its success and look forward to providing an international platform for the latest advances in coatings technology for years to come." This landmark achievement serves as further reinforcement of the great success of the American Coatings SHOW and CONFERENCE since the inaugural trade event in 2008. In May 2012, the third occurrence of the leading trade show for the North American paint and coatings industry experienced 12 percent growth in attendees (2010: 6, 700 / 2012: 7, 500)and 30 percent growth in the number of exhibitors (2010: 328 / 2012: 425).
