New education tracks at ISA International Expo 2013 bring in leading educators

Registrations for ISA International Sign Expo 2013 educational sessions are up over previous years and a new track in Architectural Design may completely sell out before the event begins. In addition to Architectural Design, a new track is devoted to the rapidly expanding area of Dynamic Digital Signage.

ISA International Sign Expo 2013 is April 3-6 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Convention Center in Las Vegas. When compared to 2011—the last year Expo was in Las Vegas—registrations to this point for educational events are up 29 percent.

The boost in education attendance is due in no small part to the lineup of course educators. Top digital signage experts, environmental graphic designers and academicians in the fields of urban planning, architecture, and design all are on tap to lead seminars during the four-day event.

At this point in registration, courses that have proven the most popular are: "Five Ways to Make Yourself Essential to Architecture and Design Firms;" "Digital Signage for Wayfinding;" "The 7 Key Elements of Dynamic Digital Signage;" "Applications and Where to Sell Dynamic Digital Signage;" and "How to Estimate and Price Signs."

"We have recruited some of the leading thinkers in these fields and attendees have shown they are eager to expand their businesses and boost their appeal to potential customers, " said Lori Anderson, president and CEO of the International Sign Association. "With more than 40 courses available, there's opportunity to discover many facets of the on-premise sign industry to see where your business can go next."

Attendance at educational events is just the latest indication that ISA International Sign Expo 2013 is poised to exceed all previous records. ISA announced last week that the exhibit floor space has topped 200, 000 square feet for the first time.
