The Grooming Contest ZooGroom 2013 will take place at the international exhibition Pet Vet Russia Expo 2013, which will be held on May 23-25 in Moscow, Crocus Expo.
On May 24th and 25th groomers from Moscow, different regions of Russia and abroad will demonstrate their skills in various nominations of the competition.
On May 24th the contest will be held in the nominations "Open class", "Class of champions" and "Beginners class".

On May 25th in the "Commercial scissoring class" masters, working in salons, will show their skills in a category "nice-and-comfortable". While "Creative scissoring class" will surprise you with imagination and ingenuity of the masters, who will apply different painting tools and accessories to decorate the dogs. On the same day salon groomers will also compete for the title of "Salon of the Year" in two nominations: Pure breeds Scissoring and Handstripping. The salon whose groomers will demonstrate best results in both nominations will become the Winner.

And in the competition "Young groomer" children and their parents will be able to cut, brush and otherwise decorate the toy model dog.

The panel of judges consists of the experts well known all over the world:

- Umberto Lehmann is the President of the European Grooming Association (E.G.A.) and the President of the Italian Grooming Association (A.T.I.);
- Kitty Dekeersgieter (Belgium) is the international grooming contest judge and Board Member of the European Grooming Association;
- Shaunna Bernardin (Canada) is a professional groomer, the international grooming contest judge. Shaunna also presents Wahl seminars in Canada, USA, England, Scotland, Uruguay and Italy.

The best groomers, winners in four main nominations: Pure breeds Scissoring, Spaniels & Setters, Handstripping and Poodles, will be invited to the national team of Russia to participate in the World Championship in grooming.
