BMWi-sponsored area for young, innovative companies at Ambiente

To be one of some 4,500 exhibitors at the leading international trade fair Ambiente, to present one's own products to more than 140,000 visitors from all over the world – what young company doesn't dream of that? For the first time, this opportunity is on offer for innovative young entrepreneurs at the next Ambiente. From 15 to 19 February 2013 they will be able to present themselves, their products and services in their own dedicated area – sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi).

The object of the BMWi sponsorship is to enable young companies to take part in international trade fairs in Germany. As part of the scheme, the BMWi pays up to 80 % of the cost of stand construction and stand rental. Any company, which has been trading for less than ten years, has a maximum of 50 staff and a yearly turnover of not more than ten million Euro, is eligible to participate in the scheme.

There are two promotional areas in which these companies will be able to showcase their new collections and creative ideas at the up-coming Ambiente. Manufacturers of gift items, paper and stationery, craftwork or personal accessories will be best placed in the 'Gifts Unlimited' section. Those wishing to exhibit jewellery, costume jewellery or watches will find their appropriate location in 'Carat'. Eligible companies may still apply to participate in this sponsorship scheme up until 25 November 2012.
