Christmasworld 2013 almost fully booked-up

International exhibitors and visitors, the biggest trend and order platform for the decorative-articles sector and new ideas and presentations revolving around the world of festive decorations will be the key features of the next Christmasworld, which will open its doors under the motto 'Welcome to Christmasworld – The World of Seasonal Decoration' for five busy days from 25 to 29 January 2013. Thus, punctually for the new business year, the fair will once again be positioned as the world's leading trade fair for festive decorations. For buyers from the wholesale and retail trades, as well as boutique owners, florists, interior furnishing specialists, designers and decorators, Christmasworld is an indispensable trend and order platform. The spectrum to be seen includes the trends and new products for Christmas, Eastern, Halloween, New Year and all other festivities of the year, such as birthday parties, Mother's Day and weddings.

Christmasworld occupies six exhibition halls and presents the complete spectrum of festive-decoration articles. With six months still to go before the doors open, 95 percent of the exhibition space has already been booked. Not only retailers from the decoration sector but also garden-centre operators, wholesalers and importers from the glass, porcelain and ceramic sector and shopping-centre managers can be sure of finding a particularly extensive assortment at the world's biggest trade fair for decorative products. For example, two halls are reserved solely for florists' requisites.

Florists' requisites are also to be found in Hall 9.0 where exhibitors such as Mega Ceramics and Walco Pottery will be showing their latest products. Also in this hall are suppliers of artificial Christmas trees, e.g., Timeless Holidays and Royal Christmas, who supplement the range of seasonal decorations being exhibited by companies such as Drescher, Silka-Ka, Floratex and Donath.

In harmony with these products, exhibitors from the decorative sector present their current range of gifts and home accessories for furnishing the home in Hall 9.1. There, everything revolves around creative presents and trendy decorations. Long-standing exhibitors, such as Boltze, Ihr Ideal Home Range, Goldbach and the Marcrander Group, will show their new products and illuminate the multifarious trends of the coming season.

Visitors looking thinking of placing medium to large-sized orders for decorative products should make a beeline for Hall 9.2 where exhibitors from China, India, Thailand and the Philippines will be showing a unique variety of products for all festivities of the year at large national pavilions.

Hall 11.0 is a breath-taking sea of light and, therefore, an absolute must for everyone with a professional interest in outdoor decorations and window dressing for Christmas. Major companies offer products for both shop window and in-shop decoration. The range stretches from illuminated reindeers, via huge light curtains for façades, illuminated festoons and hose lights, to illuminated Christmas decorations for the home.

Also to be found in Hall 11.0 are fireworks manufacturers. They have professional fireworks for all festive occasions in their product ranges.

The focus of 'Natale in Italia' is on arts & crafts from Italy. In Hall 11.1, the stands of Italian exhibitors with artistic nativity scenes are marked with a special emblem. In other words, 'Natale in Italia' will act as a guide for buyers interested in this theme.

A high-grade complementary programme with a trend show, special presentation areas and numerous other highlights will make visiting Christmasworld 2013 more attractive than ever before.

On behalf of Messe Frankfurt, designers bora.herke.palmisano will spotlight the colours and materials of the 2013 / 2014 season in the Christmasworld Trend Show. Using products from selected exhibitors, they aim to give buyers valuable inspiration and ideas for trend-oriented assortment compilation and window dressing.

In addition to the Trend Show, Messe Frankfurt is continuing with two other successful working relationships. "We are delighted that our collaboration with 'Association Les Sapins de Noël des Créateurs' is to be continued", says Eva Olbrich and makes things even more exciting: "We are not yet going to release the name of the designer who has been chosen to create our designer Christmas tree." One thing is certain, however: more space than last year will be available in the area of Hall 11.1 set aside for this designer Christmas tree show.

The Dutch designers of 2Dezign are once again contributing to Christmasworld and, with 'Window Wonderland', Rudi Tuinman and Pascal Koelman will turn part of Hall 9.0 into a lively funfair with roundabout, big wheel and a waffle and popcorn stand – the perfect stage for presenting decorative elements from selected international exhibitors. The preparations for 'Window Wonderland' are in full swing and visitors can look forward to a lavishly staged show.

The "Café Belgique" will also be located in Hall 9.0 and give visitors the chance to take a break during their tour of the hall.

Christmasworld 2013 will also be distinguished by no less than two new sources of inspiration. At the 'German Christmas Crafts' presentation area, companies will show high-quality and exclusive arts & crafts 'Made in Germany'. For international buyers in particular, this platform represents a unique opportunity to supplement their assortments with popular foreign Christmas products bearing the German seal of quality.

The first Christmasworld Forum in the foyer of Hall 11.0 will offer visitors an attractive programme of lectures and workshops. Each day of the fair will be aimed at a certain visitor target group and tailored to their specific requirements. For example, special programmes are planned for shopping-centre managers and for florists and garden-centre operators.

The multi-faceted spectrum of products to be seen not only makes Christmasworld so interesting for its buyers but also generates valuable synergistic effects with the neighbouring Paperworld and Creativeworld trade fairs. At Paperworld, for example, buyers can find everything from gift-wrapping materials and paper, via greetings cards and calendars, to office supplies, writing and drawing utensils. At Creativeworld, the trade fair for hobby, arts & crafts and artists’ requisites, they will discover a complete range of products for do-it-yourself festive decorations.
