| Expo Real 2011 – CareerDay with new interactive platform The CareerDay at Expo Real is being held for the second time in succession in the Planning & Partnerships Forum. This is where, on the last day of the trade fair, Thursday October 6, 2011, students can introduce themselves to exhibitors. In the "Closed User Group" at the Expo Real website – a closed area exclusively for CareerDay participants - students with an admission ticket to the trade fair can register and create their own individual profile. That means that even before Expo Real they have the opportunity to get in touch with exhibitors taking part in the CareerDay and apply for job offers. Conversely, exhibitors also can contact the students and make appointments with them. So far, the following companies have registered for the Expo Real CareerDay: Bankhaus Ellwanger & Geiger, Bilfinger Berger Facility Services, Greif & Contzen Immobilien, Jones Lang LaSalle, Metro Properties, Patrizia Immobilien and Savills Immobilien Beratungs-GmbH. The students can also look forward to two podium discussions. As concerns the first topic "Expo Real… and Beyond", participants explain how young visitors can make the most of their visit to the trade fair - and the smartest way to get on in a globalised and changing real estate industry in Europe, the USA and emerging countries such as Turkey. The title of the second round of discussions is "Jobseeker seeks recruiter - Recruiter seeks jobseeker. Who is actually looking for whom, when and what for?" Experts highlight the requirements that jobseekers must meet. What are the attractions of the real estate business and what opportunities for ongoing in-house qualification and development are there?
