Automechanika Moscow powered by MIMS 2011, the International Trade Fair for Automotive Parts, Components, Accessories and Aftermarket Industry, took place from August 24 to 27, uniting leading local and foreign manufacturers and major industry players in Moscow International Exhibition Centre "Crocus Expo".

Each time proving its leadership in the field of automotive parts and autocomponents, the trade fair attracted professional companies and key market players. The union of two leading brands for the automotive industry – MIMS and Automechanika Moscow – has once again proved to be the right decision and important step towards creating a united business platform for the market.

Covered the entire product range for automotive parts, components, accessories and aftermarket industry, a total of 865 companies from more than 30 countries presented their products, pipelines and services to almost 20.000 professional visitors of international standing. On its 14.500 sqm of exhibition space Automechanika Moscow powered by MIMS 2011 introduced 13 National Pavilions from Australia, Belorussia, China, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Serbia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Tunisia and UK, having surpassed the results of the previous year.

This year the Chinese Pavilion represented spare parts and accessories in a separate hall. The Chinese companies are mostly oriented on the Russian market. Hence the Pavilion was of a special interest among Russian visitors.

The two day fringe program of the 2nd Forum of "Automotive industry and auto components market in Russia" gathered 35 speakers from the key companies of the industry, such as Autovaz, GAZ Group, Mercedes Benz Trucks, Volkswagen Group RUS, STS Logistics, Association of the European Businesses, Department of Automotive Industry and Agromachinery, British Embassy in Moscow Analytical agency Autostat.

The strong fringe program of Automechanika Moscow powered by MIMS 2011 arouse great interest among the professional audience and branch media. The 2nd International Forum "Automotive Industry and Autocomponents Market in Russia", organized in partnership with the Association of European Businesses in the Russian Federation (AEB), gave a full insight into the current conditions of the automotive industry and covered such topical issues as the latest trends in the Russian Automotive Industry, Supplier Market Development, Investment Opportunities in Russian regions, legal framework of Automotive Component Industry, Standartisation and Logistics in Automotive Supply Chains, The Russian Aftersales Market etc.

The 2nd International Forum "Automotive Industry and Autocomponents Market in Russia" was visited by more than 50 professionals of the industry and has confirmed its status of the leading international business conference for the automotive topic and will undoubtedly strengthen its position within next editions of the trade fair.

World-known names, national expositions, record number of visitors, full conference halls together with already existing expertise and established position of Automechanika Moscow and MIMS are significant factors and cogent grounds for future successful development. In 2012 MIMS powered by Automechanika Moscow will take place fromAugust 27 to 30 and will change the venue. The decision of the organizers to move the exhibition to the centrally located IEC "Expocenter" in 2012 will be beneficial for both visitors and exhibitors.

So the next edition of Automechanika Moscow and MIMS union will become even more positive for customers and partners of a high-level international business-to-business trade fair.
