| Prolight + Sound 2012 – discovering new dimensions The next Prolight + Sound will be held in Frankfurt am Main from 21 to 24 March 2012 and the registration procedure for the world's biggest trade fair for the event sector is already in full swing. Prolight + Sound in Frankfurt am Main is the leading international trade fair for technologies and services for events, installation and production. At the last event this April, 876 exhibitors presented their products and services to more than 33,500 visitors. Held within the framework of the trade fair, Media Systems Prolight + Sound offers an overview of the media technology and systems integration sectors. For Prolight + Sound 2012, the organisers will further expand the position of the fair as the leading international business platform. With special customer-loyalty programmes, Prolight + Sound brings together important trade-visitor target groups and exhibitors at the same time and place. Interdisciplinary product segments, such as production, broadcasting, recording, media technology and systems integration, are supported via individual marketing activities. The event sector, which opened the 2011 editions of Prolight + Sound and Musikmesse with the presentation of the Live Entertainment Award (PRG LEA), will again take advantage of the synergies offered by the exhibitors and visitors of Prolight + Sound and the concurrent Musikmesse in 2012. Prolight + Sound is not only the biggest trade fair for the entertainment sector, it also represents an unparalleled source of practical knowledge. Media Systems Congress – where experts pass on their knowledge from the fields of media technology and systems integration – is the biggest information event at Prolight + Sound. The congress is supplemented by a manufacturers' forum, which gives exhibitors the chance to present their products and services in this specific context.
