BroadcastAsia2011 affirms reputation

Over 650 companies have snapped up 13,200 square metres of exhibition space at BroadcastAsia2011 – the region's leading trade event for the broadcasting and media industry. Boasting a growth of seven per cent compared to 2010, this year's show will showcase the latest products and solutions to visitors, from 3D and Hybrid TV to Digital Signage and Professional Audio Technology,

In a media preview held today by Singapore Exhibition Services (SES), Mr. Calvin Koh, Senior Project Manager of BroadcastAsia shared sourcing budget projections and key highlights for the event taking place on 21 to 24 June 2011. Also in attendance was Mr. Chris Grey, Head of Content Creation Solutions, Professional Solutions Company (PSAP), Sony Electronics Asia Pacific, who gave attendees a live demonstration of their latest professional technology products being showcased at BroadcastAsia2011.

Currently in its 16th edition, 86% of the exhibitors at BroadcastAsia2011 are from outside of Singapore. In fact, 43 countries and representatives from 12 group pavilions will convene at the show, with a strong European presence this year and group pavilions from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.

Cinematography/Film/Production zone that will bring together a selection of production companies demonstrating the latest innovations designed to enhance quality and work efficiency of digital content.

As a knowledge-centric event for professionals, the four-day BroadcastAsia2011 International Conference will feature over 80 high-level, international speakers who will make presentations on 3DTV, HybridTV, Connect TV, DVB and others. Companies represented include Reliance Broadcast Network, 3ality Digital, Motorola Mobility and Front Porch Digital.

This year's Creative Content Production Conference will feature an expanded agenda, and will be split into two days – The Big Screen Day (22 June) featuring key stakeholders from the film industry, and the Small Screen Day (23 June) which will explore opportunities in TV and other media. These will be followed by a full-day post-production workshop on using DSLR videography on 24 June.
