The Biggest Meeting in Renewable Energy Field from Romania

REECO organizes the third edition of RENEXPO South-East Europe trade fair, at the Palace Hall in Bucharest, 24 - 26 November 2010. Romania as a member of the European Union continues to adopt and develop projects that are permanent focusing on the legal norms and economic improvement in a Union which at its own turn is in constant development. "Energy and Climate" package is one of the main renewable energy programs that the country has undertaken. Among the objectives of this package is reducing emissions of greenhouse gases by 20% by 2020 compared to 1990, and the usage of renewable energy sources in a 20% share from the final energy consumption by 2020. Thus, Romania has to insure that by 2020, 24% of electricity comes from renewable sources.

This year REECO team aims to raise even higher the level of last year expectations, bringing over 65 international and national exhibitors, ones even from outside the European continent. Moreover, the six conferences on wind energy, hydropower, bioenergy, solar energy, energy efficiency and smart grids are scheduled to host at least 500 participants who will have the opportunity to hear speeches of many renown names.

Exhibition shows that there is an increased interest in renewable energy market in Romania, as European exhibitors from 10 countries will attend the event. Areas of reference in our trade fair are: wind energy, bioenergy, hydropower, energy efficiency and passive houses, and many more.

The international brokerage event organised by IPA and RO 4 Enterprise Europe will continue to generate interest for people willing to find business partners. This year RENEXPO South-East Europe offers a unique opportunity to all universities to present their projects and promote their activities related to renewable energy project at the UniStreet.

Another highlight of the RENEXPO South-East Europe in Bucharest is the Exhibitors' Forum where companies can present their products and services and the end consumers can listen to this free of charge.
