BulkSolids India: conference programme arranged

Well-known experts and top companies are presented at BulkSolids India 2010 in the Nehru Centre, Mumbai, from 2–3 March. The aim of Vijay K Agarwal, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Chairman of the Conference Board, is to offer participants a platform to share experiences and ideas. At the exhibition accompanying the conference, more than 30 companies from the bulk solids, granules and powder industry present their products and services.

BulkSolids India, a unique conference with accompanying exhibition, celebrates its premiere in India shortly. The event focuses on transport, storage and handling of bulk solids, granules and powder.

The experts can listen to interesting lectures such as "Dry Bulk Logistics – From Port to Plant", "Highly Cost-Efficient and Environment-Friendly Ship Unloading and Loading", "Bags, Bulk Products & Bagging Systems – A General Overview of the Worldwide Bagging Market and Technology", "Pneumatic Conveying Conditions for Maximum Throughput or Minimum Energy" or "Industrial Explosion Prevention and Protection" and "Solution to Belt Conveying and Dust Emission Control During Bulk Material Handling", to name only a few.

The noted expert Professor Mark Jones, TUNRA Bulk Solids Handling Research Associates, University of Newcastle, Australia, opens the lecture series with his keynote on "Bulk Solids Research and its Impact on Industrial Practice" on 2 March.
