TrendSet Winter 2010

The first must-go date in the 2010 trade fair calendar: "TrendSet – 95th International Trade Fair for Living, Dining, Lifestyle". The most successful and largest exhibition of its kind in the southern German-speaking area is taking place in Munich, Germany from Saturday, 9 January to Monday, 11 January 2010. In eight large halls, on approximately 90,000 sqm of exhibition space, approximately 2,300 brands and lines on display from ten living and lifestyle categories are awaiting visitors from the trade.

Owing to the maturing structure of TrendSet, the categorization of the exhibitors was slightly changed. Exhibitors from the category Hobby and Crafts are now joining papeterie manufacturers and wholesalers like Depesche and Artoz. Räder and Reisenthel are now also listed in this category. This created more room for the large category Presents, Decorations, Souvenirs. Right near them, the specialty buyers also can find the equally large category Floristry, Leisure, Garden.

In both large categories Kitchen, Household, Gourmet and Glass, Porcelain, Ceramics, the big names and brands of the industry are presenting their newest products and bestsellers. To further strengthen its competence in this sector, TrendSet has entered into a cooperation with the exhibition küchentrends – fachmesse für küchenexperten (kitchen trends – trade fair for kitchen experts). This fair takes place on 23 and 24 March 2010 in the M, O, C, München in Munich, Germany.

TrendSet is also taking into account the increased presence of home textiles, and has positioned these exhibitors more prominently closer to furniture and home décor exhibitors. The special area bijoutex is also receiving more space and now includes relaxation zones for a more spacious atmosphere.

The signs and directions for attendees allow the buyers to rapidly gain a good overview of the wide range of available products and the presented novelties and trends. In a pleasant atmosphere for ordering, attendees are able to determine which new products they would like to offer to consumers for 2010. TrendSet is estimating that 35,000 attendees from the trade from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, northern Italy, and neighbouring eastern EU member countries will attend the show in January. According to a current survey by Infratest, almost half of the attendees place over 25 percent of their annual orders at TrendSet; a good every sixth attendee even 50 percent and more.
