Chillventa 2010 Gets Under Way

Following its impressive premiere, the Chillventa International Trade Fair for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation and Heat Pumps enters its second round from 13–15 October 2010. Chillventa established itself as the new international get-together for the refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and – for the first time – heat pump community from a standing start. The exhibition organizers are now looking confidently to 2010, for Chillventa convinces both visitors and exhibitors with its clear orientation and the right concept. Chillventa 2010 now gets under way with the mailing of the application documents to potential exhibitors.

Chillventa achieved its objective of reflecting the international spectrum of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology at the world-renowned exhibition venue in Nürnberg right from the start. It presents a comprehensive spectrum of innovations, components, systems and applications and is the most important refrigeration exhibition in the world. Chillventa is also a decisive international forum for product and system development in the fields of refrigeration, air conditioning, heat pumps and ventilation. It reflects the thermodynamic cycle processes for cooling and heating and all the associated application fields.

"The unique history of Chillventa has released new forces beyond the actual theme of refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation technology, initiated unusual processes and established productive partnerships. The 2008 exhibition was the nucleus for all these dynamic developments, but also for a very special event spirit, " says Walter Hufnagel, Member of the Management Board of NürnbergMesse.

Other professional event concepts have developed from this and have already been implemented successfully. The Industrial Heat Pump Village, which will take place again at Chillventa in 2010, was the breeding ground for the European Heat Pump Summit 2009.

This event met the wish of many players in the industry for a purely B-to-B dialogue platform. The European heat pump professionals met for a high-level exchange of views at this compact two-day event at the beginning of September. The European Heat Pump Summit was a complete success right from the start.

Premiere of Cleanroom Village
Cleanroom technology is a substantial application in refrigeration and air conditioning. "We have taken up the request and present this theme at Chillventa 2010 in the specially created Cleanroom Village. A wide range of aspects of cleanrooms and ultra-cleanrooms are combined here in a top format, " says Hufnagel. Manufacturers in the Cleanroom Village present the latest technologies for planning, construction and operation of cleanrooms and ultra-cleanrooms in production, research and laboratories. This makes the village a welcome addition to the core spectrum of products at Chillventa.
