Global Transport & Logistics Companies to Exhibit at SITL Dubai

Reed Exhibitions have secured the participation of some of the world's leading global transport and logistics providers, including DP World, Schenker, Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA), TNT, Agility, Al Futtaim Logistics and Port of Sohar among others. SITL Dubai 2009, (the International Week of Transport and Logistics), will be held 3 – 5 November 2009, Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates Group.

International, regional and local logistics service providers and freight companies will be showcasing innovative products and services dedicated to procurement, distribution and the supply chain.

"The interest we have been witnessing from potential exhibitors for SITL Dubai is testemony to the growing sentiment that the first signs of an economic recovery are being seen, resulting in a gradual acceleration of trade, " said Mohamad Bader-Eddin, Show Director, Reed Exhibitions Middle East, organisers of SITL Dubai 2009.

Throughout the show, Reed Exhibitions will run a number of related side events such as a two-day Global Shippers' Conference gathering shippers from Europe, the Americas and Asia to discuss the challenges facing the global freight industry. An exclusive RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) area will feature the latest technology and applications in the logistics sector. The business and investment forum will offer a platform for exhibitors to present their product and services. Finally, SITL's Hosted Buyer Programme will bring active buyers to meet with exhibitors and explore business opportunities. Other networking opportunities such as the exhibitors' gala at SITL Dubai 2009 will go a long way to ensure attendees derive conclusive benefits from their participation at the event.
