AIRTEC 2009

The international conference "Supply on the wings" will take place November 03 – 05, 2009, for the 4th time in the context of AIRTEC and will be titled "Aerospace – Innovation through international cooperation". The top class conference will bring together renowned experts from all areas of aviation and aviation supply industry as well as from government institutions and academia to discuss current topics of aviation and aerospace industry, new developments and research results, but also to establish new and to deepen existing contacts.

This year´s important aspects of the three day conference held in English, which has established itself as an important event within AIRTEC, are Aerospace Composite Structures, the whole process chain as well as Metallic Structures, Simulation, Systems and Components, Life Cycle Support, Aircraft Design and Engines.

The conference is scientifically chaired by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Richard Degenhardt, DLR Braunschweig and PFH Göttingen. Top class speakers from science and industry, from Europe, U.S. and Asia have already announced their participation. Key-Note lectures will be held by Dr. Jocelyn Gaudin, Airbus (France), John M. Griffith, Boeing (USA), Marco Cecchini, Embraer (Brasil), G. Avalle, L. Fossati und V. Sapienza von Alenia Aeronautica (Italy) und Dr. Frank Arnold, CeBeNetwork (Germany) this year.

AIRTEC has managed to generate an international, scientific and technical advisory board for the 4th International Conference "Supply on the wings" with experts from renowned universities and for the first time also with leading representatives from the industry.

2009 the successful development of "Supply on the wings" will proceed by an increasing number and internationality of participants. The success of the conference "Supply on the wings" also can be demonstrated by the positive feedback of the participants in 2008. They attested the conference a brilliant quality of the speeches and did already assure their participation for 2009.
