Vietnam Comm & Vietnam Electronics 2009

The official announcement of four 3G licenses this year marked an important milestone for 3G products, technologies and solutions deployment and application in Vietnam. It is expected that 3G, mobile/ wireless internet and broadband access, mobile content and value-added services will enjoy a rapid growth in Vietnam with huge market potential. Mobile end-users are expecting to see more new 3G mobile phones and smart phones, which can help them to utilize the advantages and convenience brought by the technology upgrade to both daily and business life.

According to Seeking Alpha, a web-based analyst, 'Vietnam will become one of the largest mobile markets in Asia, with an estimated 120 million subscribers by the end of 2014, telecom firms in Vietnam are expected to add 53 million subscriptions over the next five years, making it a potential booming market for 3G equipment vendors. Assuming 3G were available by the end of 2009 as expected, the country would likely to have about 43 million 3G subscribers by 2014, or 36 per cent of the total users.'

Overseas Pavilions Enrich Events' Content
What's more, the twin expos receive continuous support from overseas industry pavilions, which enrich the international content of the expos. Singapore Industrial Automation Association (SIAA), CCPIT Electronics and Information Industry Sub-Council, China PTAC Communications Services Co., Ltd., and Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association (TEEMA) demonstrate continuous support to the expos by bringing pavilions from Singapore, China and Taiwan.
