TM Forum Regional Spotlight in Cairo

TM Forum, the world's premier industry group focused on business effectiveness for the communications and media sectors, today announced that it will help senior executives capitalize on opportunities presented by the rapidly-evolving telecommunications landscape in the Middle East and Africa, in an exclusive, C-level roundtable on October 12, 2009 at the TM Forum Regional Spotlight in Cairo, Egypt.

The workshop session will discuss business transformation in emerging markets. Drawing on observations and lessons learned from TM Forum's members, executives will debate service management and operational strategies affecting profitability in emerging markets and key investment priorities for driving business success.

• More than 20 C-level industry leaders, including Akil Beshir, chairman of Telecom Egypt, will participate in the first TM Forum Regional Spotlight in Cairo.

• Led by TM Forum chairman and CEO Keith Willetts, the executive roundtable workshop will run from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and is by invitation only. The Regional Spotlight will then start at 1:00 p.m. through 5:30 p.m., and is free of charge and open to the public.

• TM Forum's Regional Spotlights are mini-conferences that offer communications service providers and suppliers a unique opportunity to come together to discuss key business issues affecting digital media and communication services in the region.

• The Cairo executive roundtable workshop will run from 8am to12-30pm and is by invitation only. The Regional Spotlight starts at 1.00pm to 5-30pm and is free of charge and open to anyone
