BROADCAST-09

The film industry will be promoted at the fourteenth edition of the International Audiovisual Technology Trade Show, BROADCAST ´09, which is due to take place between 3rd and 6th November 2009 at Feria de Madrid, through the auspices of the Association of Spanish Technical Audiovisual Industries, AITE.

In this respect, the fair organised by IFEMA is focusing on various new fields, such as the sector that provides equipment for companies and the film industry, thus boosting their representation at the event.

In doing so, BROADCAST will once again enjoy the support of one of the leading representatives of the film industry, the Association of Spanish Technical Audiovisual Industries, AITE, which took part at BROADCAST for the first time at the fair´s last edition in the year 2007. This association is a non-profit-making professional body that brings together companies linked to the technical process of audiovisual and sound production, ranging from shooting to post-production, without forgetting the manufacture of copies for distribution of the resulting work via exhibition and broadcasting media.

By attending BROADCAST, AITE seeks to promote its work among the participating companies, which focuses mainly of representing and defending the interests of its members vis-ŕ-vis various institutions and key members of the industry, thus promoting legislation that facilitates the stability and growth of a self-sufficient industry that is capable of incorporating ongoing technological advances. The association also seeks to promote companies within the Spanish and foreign audiovisual market, conveying their know-how to society in general.

With the support of the Spanish Association of Technical Audiovisual Industries, AITE, BROADCAST aims to boost the level of representation that this sector enjoys at the fair, the second largest event of its kind in Europe for the audiovisual technology industry. So far BROADCAST has recorded a favourable business response.
