Alexandra Simpson, Coutts New Jeweller Award Winner 2009 at IJL

Alexandra is 'the new jeweller on the block' having an art and design background from her initial degree she has retrained in her passion: Jewellery! She is becoming known for her delicate, romantic and intricate flowers however she is inspired by many things from nature and Art Nouveau. IJL 2009 is Alexandra's first trade show. She will be launching her gorgeous silver and 18ct gold jewellery to the trade. With popular lines from her everyday wear 'Inspired Flower' collection, her stunning Victoriana 'Poppy' collections and elegant, multi sensory 'Fushia' range, buyers will be queuing up to make those orders!

At present she is developing her flirty and arty 'Double violet' range this is proving to be a very popular with the public in her market research so watch this space…this could be a new collection she launches at IJL.

She says: "My work has been selling well in the Uk and Switzerland. I want to build on this success by using IJL as a launch pad to widen my UK trade base. Many buyers from all over the Uk and Europe will be in one place and I would like to make the most of this opportunity to meet these exciting retailers and buyers face to face with my jewellery."
