2009 TMC Labs Innovation Award

Movius Interactive Corporation, a global leader in messaging, collaboration and mobile media solutions, announced that Technology Media Corporation (TMC), a global integrated media company, has awarded their Automated Presence solution as a 2009 TMC Labs Innovation Award winner. Presented by TMC's publication Unified Communications, this is the second consecutive year for Movius to earn this award.

Automated Presence from Movius has been recognized for its innovation and originality. The unique suite of solutions automatically updates a user's presence status based on their location and manages applications without the need for user intervention. The suite includes Continuous Call which automatically transfers a live call between a mobile and fixed line phone, Automated Find Me which directs calls to your present location, and Hands Free Email which converts email to speech to help keep drivers connected while in their car. All applications utilize Movius' patent-pending technology.

"It is a great honor to receive this influential award, " comments Earl Philmon, Vice President Business Management at Movius Interactive Corporation. "At Movius we are dedicated to developing solutions for both consumer and business users that add value by making their lives simpler. Automated Presence is truly a break-through innovation that people love to use and we are delighted that it has been recognized by TMC Labs."

"Unified Communications has seen tremendous growth because of major advances in UC technologies and the number of new entries in the market, TMC Labs has honored only those companies that proved they upheld the highest standards in advancing unified communications solutions, " explains Rich Tehraini, TMC president and group editor-in-chief.

"Trend-setting companies that launched a new product or made an outstanding improvement to an existing application, such as Movius Interactive Corporation, were singled out, " adds Rich.
