Asian Gaming Market at G2E Asia 2009

Global Gaming Expo Asia (G2E Asia) 2009 will bring together some of the top leaders and experts in the Asian gaming market during this year's keynote sessions to discuss the current state and future outlook of the industry, and tackle issues such as how to remain competitive in the current economic environment and how to prepare for potential changes in years to come. The Opening Day keynote event will feature the presentation of the 2009 G2E Asia Visionary Award to industry luminary Dr. Stanley Ho. G2E Asia 2009 is scheduled for June 2-4 at the Cotai Strip CotaiExpo at the Venetian Macau.

"As the global gaming industry continues to face one of the most challenging economic environments in recent history, the insights of top leaders and analysts will play an important role in helping industry professionals weather the storm, " said Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr., president and CEO of the American Gaming Association (AGA). "The keynote sessions at G2E Asia 2009 offer attendees a unique opportunity to hear from those who know the industry best as they provide in-depth analyses of the current landscape, as well as future prospects for growth."

In a special event on Wednesday, June 3, the Opening Day of the trade show floor at G2E Asia 2009, Dr. Stanley Ho, founder of the Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau S.A. ("STDM") and managing director of Sociedade de Jogos de Macau S.A ("SJM"), will be honored for his lifetime of achievements in the Asian gaming sector and provide a brief keynote address to attendees. An instrumental figure in the development and success of Macau, Dr. Ho will receive the second annual G2E Asia Visionary Award during this special ceremony. Dr. Ho continues to be a key player in the Asian gaming market and in the region's economic development and growth.

On Thursday, June 4, a panel of expert analysts will provide their unique thoughts and insights during "Asian Analysts: The Future of Gaming in Asia." Fahrenkopf will moderate the discussion, which will focus on how the regional markets will evolve in light of current economic realities. Joining Fahrenkopf will be Billy Ng, vice president, conglomerates and gaming, Asia Pacific Equity Research, J.P. Morgan; Gary Pinge, senior vice president, Industrial, Conglomerates and Transportation Research, Macquarie; Adam Rosenberg, managing director, global head of gaming group, Goldman Sachs & Co.; and Andrew Zarnett, managing director, Deutsche Bank Securities.
