Industry Experts Talk At Marketing+Services

Brand management and brand development are the umbrella themes of the top-flight lecture programme at Marketing+Services 2009. In expert forums and workshops, experienced industry experts provide real-world expertise on current trends. New at the specialist marketing trade fair: The German Design Council convention.

It is hard to imagine the international brand scene without the three striking stripes: adidas is a globally successful brand. This year, the sports goods manufacturer is celebrating its 60th anniversary. The company history is a testament to exemplary brand management and positioning. But what are the concepts behind it? Visitors to Marketing+Services can find out this and more at the After-Work-Keynotes on the evening of the second day of the trade fair. Dr Michael Durst, Manager Marketing IT Innovations at adidas AG, will speak then on the subject of "Customer loyalty through interaction – hybrids and custom products exemplified by adidas AG". The Marketing Club Frankfurt is hosting the event.

Visitors will gain yet more insights into profitable marketing ideas at the trade fair's expert forums. On all three days, lectures will be held hourly on key issues such as "Brands and Marketing Trends", "Live Marketing", or "Online Marketing Trends". A special feature of Marketing+Services: Participation in the expert forums and After-Work-Keynotes is included in the entry price.

Top-class speakers will pass on exclusive know-how, clearly demonstrated using best-case practices. Sven Markschläger, Head of Digital Marketing, Marketing & Sales at Mast-Jägermeister AG, for example, presents recipes for success in digital brand management using the example of the "Kein Jägermeister" campaign. On the second day of the trade fair, Georg Thaller, Managing Director of Fissler GmbH, will discuss "From the traditional brand to modernity". In the afternoon, Stephan Koziol, CEO of Koriol ideas for friends GmbH, presents the idea of "Marketing as a universe of experience: The happiness factory". And on the third day, Marc Wrobel, Senior Manager New Business & Partnerships at Vodafone Media Solutions speaks on the "Digital lifestyle – Web 2.0 opportunities for brand communication".

Special emphasis is also being given to the subject of brand communication at the convention hosted by the trade fair. With the title "Making brand values tangible", experts from corporations and brand agencies present current cases and the latest techniques, and discuss future challenges for efficient brand management. The renowned German Design Council is organising the convention at Marketing+Services this year for the first time.

The trade fair offers workshops for visitors who wish to further deepen their knowledge of the individual marketing disciplines. The emphasis is on current industry trends such as online marketing on the web 2.0, affiliate marketing, or legal certainty in dialogue marketing. Experienced specialists such as Klaus Kuenen, Senior Product Manager Reader Service at Deutsche Post AG, are heading the events. Three all-day workshops will be held every day, each from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
