Flurry Of New Product Launches At F&A Trade Show

A flurry of new product launches and an increased number of new participants promises to make the sixth edition of the Fabrics & Accessories Trade Show 2009 a meaningful event, both to the participants as well as the visitors, especially in these days when there is a lot of talk about the phenomenon called 'recession'. "In spite of all this talk about the recession, the show is turning out well, " said Mr P. Krishnamurthy, CEO, S S Media & Marketing, organizers of the show. "Our participants have realized that the course that has proven successful during tough times in the past is to continue promoting their brand, products or business. As the so called 'credit crunch' continues, a good marketing campaign is essential to the success of their business."

Tough times call for even more aggressive and focused marketing. "Exhibitions, they realize, are the ideal environment for both obtaining qualified leads and developing existing relationships. Networking with others in the industry can be just what one needs for fresh ideas and new directions to take your business to… Marketing is more than just selling."

"In other words, our participants wisely understand that the process of marketing is a non stop process and will never cease even in times of a global recession. Therefore, instead of crying for recession, recession every time, they know the thrust should be on better communications… In fact, there is no recession to those who are always ready to grab opportunities."

F&A Show moves to a new venue

After three successful editions of the Fabrics & Accessories Trade Show at the Trade Centre, Whitefield, the event moves to a new location: The Bangalore Palace. "The growing exhibition required more space, " said Mr Krishnamurthy. "It was but natural, to move to a location that offered a larger facility." Moreover, the venue is located centrally in the heart of the city, with easy access to domestic as well as the exporting textile and apparel trade and manufacturing community."

Now, into its sixth edition, the first ever show was held at the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, and the second one at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru.

F&A Trade Show provides a strong and meaningful platform for bridging the sourcing gaps and providing opportunity for dialogue amongst industry leaders from South Asia. The well-balanced product-mix displayed by enterprises from across the textiles and accessories spectrum meet buyers' expectations.

Not only the fact that a majority of companies who exhibited in the earlier editions has once again confirmed their participation, a large number of new exhibitors too have been added to the show.

The show will run June 5 - 7, 2009, from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. at the Bangalore Palace, Palace Road, Mount Carmel College Entrance, Vasanth Nagar, Bengaluru.
