A New, Bright And Focused Street Design Exhibition For 2009

Street Design 2009 is a visionary new event focused on the core areas of outdoor street furniture, public lighting and the urban built environment. The event will take place at the NEC Birmingham from 21st - 23rd April 2009. Street Design will co-locate with Traffex; the 24 th international traffic engineering, road safety, highway infrastructure and maintenance exhibition, and Parkex; Europe's largest dedicated parking exhibition. The combined events will provide visitors with the opportunity to see over 500 exhibitors from the world of street design, traffic management and parking.

With the full support of the prestigious LGN Street Design Awards, the Street Design exhibition will feature over 100 exhibiting companies showcasing the products and services that help create award-winning projects. In addition, next year's event will feature a purpose built Seminar Theatre, offering visitors a wide range of topical briefings and insights from the industry's leading experts. The three-day seminar programme will be free to attend and is organised by the Landscape Institute, The Highway Electrical Manufacturers and Suppliers Association and The Institution of Lighting Engineers.

The main themes of the exhibition will be brought to life in 'The Street', an exciting feature designed by leading architects Capita Lovejoy. The Street will offer a live representation of landscape design for the public realm, showcasing the latest products in-situ.
