Important issues will be addressed, such as the techniques and commercial strategies in the current business climate, and in view of future prospects, the gradual introduction of new technologies, the obligations and the opportunities of the imposed environmental standards and forecasts on the future of the European regulation on the sale and the assistance to vehicles (Monti regulation). Within this framework, discussions will also centre on the role of independent aftermarket networks.

Last, special attention will be devoted to safety of vehicles during their entire life cycle and on environmental sustainability. Another topic of discussion will be the role of manufacturers of diagnostic equipment.
