Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference

Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference (K/BIS), which hosts the largest collection of kitchen and bath products, courses and conference sessions, promises to offer the latest in product advancements, trends and insights to help attendees meet the needs of the marketplace. K/BIS will take place from April 30 to May 3 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. "Kitchens have become the place where family and friends gather most often while bathrooms are becoming spa-like retreats, " said Brian Pagel, Vice President, Kitchen and Bath Group, Nielsen Business Media. "K/BIS is the industry event to see the products and exchange ideas for these rooms in the house that matter most to consumers."

Take inspiration from Extreme Makeover Home Edition carpenter Paul DiMeo and This Old House's plumbing expert Richard Trethewey and designer Carol Freehauf, as they present the latest kitchen and bath trends. John Gidding of HGTV's Designed to Sell will discuss design and inspiration, while Food Network's Aida Mollenkamp will offer food preparation tips, equipment, and tools advice for a top-functioning kitchen.

In addition, former The Young and the Restless star Steve Ford, son of former President Gerald Ford, will talk about maintaining your character in business, and Terry Savage, one of the country's top economists, will provide practical tactics for business owners. Headlining the K/BIS speakers in 2009 with the opening keynote will be former Arkansas governor and Republican presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee.
