TFWA Asia Pacific & GATE ONE2ONE Conference and Exhibition

Several companies from the world of duty free and travel retail have stepped forward to demonstrate firm support for the annual TFWA Asia Pacific & GATE ONE2ONE conference and exhibition in Singapore with generous sponsorship. The event, which takes place at Singapore Suntec from 11th to 14th May, is a unique platform for all stakeholders in the industry – suppliers, retailers, operators, landlords – to develop strategic action plans, foster solid partnerships and cultivate new business.

The Platinum sponsors of the TFWA Asia Pacific & GATE ONE2ONE conference on Monday 11th May are the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), which runs Singapore Changi airport, and Ajmal perfumes and cosmetics company from Dubai, which is exhibiting at the show for the first time.

Perfetti Van Melle, the Dutch confectionery company with brands such as Chupa Chups and Mentos, will provide lunch and the morning coffee break will be sponsored by Beschle Chocolatier from Switzerland.

French fashion and accessories company Zilli is to sponsor a workshop whose subject is close to its own heart, 'Premium products retailing in Asia Pacific'; French jewellery company Reminiscence will add sparkle to the hostesses' attire; and Wizz Retail Concepts gift and toy company will celebrate its debut at the show with a gift for delegates.

Before business gets underway there will be the annual TFWA Golf Tournament, organised in partnership with Inter Parfums, on Sunday 10th May on the beautiful landscaped course at Raffles Country Club.

The TFWA Welcoming Cocktail on Sunday evening will be staged at Oosh whose delightful ambiance proved so popular with those who attended last year to catch up with friends old and new.

The Patron Spirits Company will sponsor the Pool Party at the Pan Pacific Hotel on Tuesday 12th where event delegates can relax after a hard day in the exhibition.

The social highlight of the week is likely to be the Singapore Swing Party on Wednesday 13th staged for the first time at One on the Bund, a magnificent converted jetty. The theme will be 'Peranakan Soul', a mixture of Chinese and Malay culture, offering a high profile tribute to the traditions and origins of Singaporean art and lifestyle.
