Light & Energy: All The Latest News In May At Livinluce & Enermotive

The countdown has started for the next edition of LivinLuce and EnerMotive, organised by Fiera Milano Tech and scheduled to take place from 26th to 30th May 2009 at fieramilano (Rho). Several new items are planned for this event, which will focus its beam on the world of building (from electrical installation material to safety and home and building automation solutions), lighting (lighting science, technology and design), power (electricity in all its forms, from standard to alternative sources) and factory (excellence of products and systems for factory and process automation).

These exhibitions will provide an excellent opportunity to delve into current levels of offer and demand in the sector, to strike up new business acquaintances, get updated on the most important topics and take part in meetings with key players and experts.

All the initiatives that form part of the event are meant to respond to the specific requirements that cropped up in direct interaction with the market over these months.

One of these initiatives is the URBAN SOLUTIONS project, a great laboratory for urban regeneration, which will be created in the exhibition halls to provide the public authorities with real solutions, in-depth analyses, comparisons and best-practices in the world of lighting design and energy.

Besides the standard conference programme, the exhibitions will also include ACADEMY, the new area specially set up to host seminars and business-workshops with a strong focus on training and updates, planned so that the visitor can take part in 50-minute sessions on specific topics, with the assistance of key market players.

LivinLuce and EnerMotive are important events for raising visibility and promotion, and represent an opportunity to meet national and international companies and groups who will present the very best technology, solutions and services. International visitors are being targeted through a full advertising campaign along with presentations abroad, which are currently taking place. Press conferences have already been held in Ljubljana, Zagreb, Casablanca, Algiers and a roadshow is also planned in Bucharest and Plovdiv. In order to promote the three exhibitions in the Middle East market, LivinLuce and EnerMotive will attend the MIDDLE EAST ELECTRICITY Exhibition & Conference 2009 (pavilion 3 stand F38), in Dubai from 8th to 10th February 2009.

This is the biggest exhibition in the Middle East area focused on electricity, electrotechnical material, lighting and lighting design sectors, in addition to production, distribution and transmission of energy and the sectors concerned with renewable energy, and represents an opportunity to promote the LIVINLUCE and ENERMOTIVE to potentially highly qualified visitors: operators in the sector and decision makers in the Middle East, i.e. engineers, architects, officials and government departments and installation and plant engineering companies.

The underlying theme of LivinLuce and EnerMotive will be energy efficiency, and the focus on technologies, solutions and studies that are nowadays fundamental to face the new challenges of cost saving and environmental sustainability. These topics will be discussed during EnerMotive, which deals with all the energy sources currently available, and which will provide an overall update on the sector in view of a completely new event on renewable energy planned for November.

In fact, due to the changed requirements of the market, which requests both a comparison between traditional and alternative sources and vertical events dedicated to renewable energy, EnerSolar+, initially conceived as a section of EnerMotive, will be instead a brand new exhibition, entirely focusing on solar energy. Organised by Fiera Milano Tech and Artenergy Publishing, EnerSolar+ will take place from 25th to 28th November, at the same time with GREENERGY EXPO, and will showcase the widest range of renewable energy sources: photovoltaic solar energy and solar thermal energy, geothermal energy, biogas, mini and micro-hydroelectricity, energy from wood and pellets, cogeneration and energy markets.

LivinLuce and EnerMotive 2009 are supported by the leading associations in the sector, who are involved in developing and promoting the exhibitions: ANIE (Federazione Nazionale delle Imprese Elettrotecniche ed Elettroniche - "National federation of electrotechnical and electronic companies"), FME (Federazione Nazionale Grossisti Distributori Materiale Elettrico - "National federation of electrical material wholesaler and distributors"), ARAME (Associazione Nazionale Rappresentanti Agenti Materiale Elettrico - "National association of electric material representatives"), ANIPLA (Associazione Nazionale Italiana per l'Automazione - "National Italian automation association"), ASSISTAL (Associazione Nazionale Costruttori di Impianti - "National association of plant builders"), CEI (Comitato Elettrotecnico Italiano - "Italian electrotechnical committee"), FAST (Federazione delle Associazioni Scientifiche e Tecniche - "Federation of scientific and technical associations"), GISI (Associazioni Imprese Italiane di Strumentazione - "Association of Italian instrumentation companies") and IMQ (Istituto Italiano del marchio di qualità - "Italian institute for mark quality").
