Building Well With Wood And Natural Material

At the Verona Trade Fair from 26 February to 1 March 2009 on the use of wood in the building sector. Sixth edition of the international exhibition on the use of wood in the building sector. Planning, but above all constructing or refurbishing apartments, villas, offices, industries or shopping centres using wood is growing in popularity now more than ever. Not a fad, but a new way of thinking. And the next Legno & Edilizia event, organised by Piemmeti SpA from 26 February to 1 March 2009 in pavilions 8-10 and 11 of the Verona fairgrounds, is aimed at builders, construction companies, carpenters, designers and professionals working in the wood industry.

This biennial event will focus specifically on the individuals working in the sector on a daily basis, with particular attention to those who want to live in homes or civil structures built using sustainable materials.

The four days of the exhibition will allow at least 20,000 sector professionals to see the latest innovations underway, with the presentation of an extensive array of products: load-bearing wood structures for civilian and public use, carpentry (beams and panels), machinery and equipment for the wood used in building, woodworking, semi-finished goods, formworks, frames, prefabricated homes and outdoor wooden structures, wooden window and door fittings, eco-friendly glues, paints and primers, security systems, roofing, insulating materials, sheaths and accessories, design, software and certification services and fastening systems.

Given the growing interest in a new way of building roofs and external walls (in the latest editions of Legno & Edilizia, half of the public consisted of roof installers), the special section "Tetto & Pareti" (Roof & Walls) will be expanded, providing new solutions, materials and systems for external coverings, aimed at designers, as well as tinsmiths and construction firms.

In addition to the exhibition, several information workshops and technical meetings for the various categories are planned. These are excellent opportunities to acquire up-to-date information, making the Verona event a valuable point of reference on a national scale, not only for sector operators but also for those who are interested in specific aspects of architecture and "bio-building".
