| Streetlab 2009 Building on the success of the Melbourne fair in September, StreetLab will again be at the heart of the Street/Urbanwear precinct at FASHION EXPOSED & preview, on at the Sydney Exhibition Centre from Sunday 8 – Tuesday 10 March 2009. New, exciting and relevant StreetLab will feature over 20 cutting edge labels for buyers to view and meet while they listen to one of Sydney's best DJ's in a trade space unlike any other in Australia. Street/Urban's Premier Australian Fashion event will rock buyers into next season's threads with ultimate style. The hottest young designers, emerging labels and premier international brands will be showcased. StreetLab – The Launch Party Summer & Street are the hot themes for this years biggest party. Cargo Bar on Darling Harbour will host the Streetlab Launch Party on Thursday 5 March at 7pm. Be apart of the fashion vibe and cool trends as Sydney's best DJ's rock out this summers coolest tunes while some of Australia's best street labels and designers meet to celebrate their Spring/Summer collections. Performing live is young Sydney based singer/songwriter Tegan Rogers. Signed to BlindFaith Entertainment Tegan is currently working on her R&B album at The Sound Academy and is sure to kick start the nights entertainment. In aid of the Victorian Bushfires, the evening will feature a silent auction to assist individuals and the communities affected by the devastating bushfires. All items have been generously donated and include holidays and signed memorabilia with a total recommended retail price of $10, 000.
