Cholodexpo Rossija 2009 Enters The Second Round

The Russian trade fair CholodExpo Rossija 2009 focuses on the refrigeration, air conditioning and cooling industry. From 10-12 March 2009, the Who's Who of the Russian and international refrigeration industry meet for the second time in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow to source information about the latest trends and developments in the Russian market. The get-together for the Russian refrigeration industry offers an international conference programme on current issues. In 2009, CholodExpo Rossija is supported for the first time by the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR).

The exhibitors include well-known companies from more than 15 countries, such as Bock Kältemaschinen, Bicold, Dorin, Dupont, Eliwell, Embraco, Emerson, FRASCOLD, Grasso, Güntner, Honeywell, LU-VE, Ostrov, TEKO and Thyssen Krupp Bausysteme. Other companies from Germany exhibit in the official German pavilion. CholodExpo Rossija is organized by NürnbergMesse.

How is the market for cooling technologies developing in Russia? What trends are emerging for accessories and refrigeration applications? What effects do the regulations for the refrigeration and cooling technology industry have on the environment and safety? The answers to questions like these and plenty of explosive issues for discussion can be found at the conference accompanying CholodExpo Rossija.

The programme for 2009 includes as many as four presentations by international organizations and companies. The speakers include Bernhard Schrempf from TÜV Süd and Dr. Rainer M. Jakobs, DMJ Consulting and executive board member of the German Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Society (DKV). They speak on regulations in the European refrigeration market on the third day of the conference. Dietmar Schittenhelm, lecturer and Director of the Federal College of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technology (BFS) in Maintal, Germany, reports on training measures in the cooling and refrigeration industry in Germany and Europe.

The last day is particularly interesting for newcomers to the industry, when experts such as Professor A. Malyshev from the University of St. Petersburg and V. Sapozhnikov, Director of the Ostrov Education Center, show existing opportunities for further training and additional qualifications in the industry.

CholodExpo Rossija is supported by the Russian refrigeration association "Rossojuscholodprom" and, with effect from 2009, by the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR). The association with headquarters in France has 61 member countries and promotes the worldwide circulation of knowledge in the refrigeration industry. The aim of IIR is to counteract the climate change through highly developed technologies and long-term handling of refrigeration and cooling systems.

Major companies such as cooling equipment manufacturer Ostrov from Russia, Bock Kältemaschinen, Bicold, Dorin, Dupont, Eliwell, Embraco, Emerson, FRASCOLD, Grasso, Güntner, Honeywell, LU-VE, TEKO and Thyssen Krupp Bausysteme have already confirmed they will exhibit. This is the second time at CholodExpo Rossija for many of them. The promoter NürnbergMesse expects distinctly more exhibitors on individual stands and in the German pavilion and many more visitors. CholodExpo Rossija celebrated its premiere in 2008 with some 70 exhibitors and more than 3, 000 trade visitors.

CholodExpo Rossija is Russia's only refrigeration exhibition. Once a year in the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center, the visitors have the opportunity to source information direct from the exhibitors about refrigeration components and applications, cooling and freezing equipment, insulation, heat pumps, control & instrumentation, automation, installation materials and accessories for refrigeration and air conditioning, services for refrigeration and air conditioning, energy-efficient solutions and cryogenic technologies. CholodExpo Rossija has taken place in Moscow yearly since 2008 and ranks as Russia's industry get-together. CholodExpo Rossija receives extensive support from the Giproholod Institute in Russia as well as from Rossojuscholodprom and IIR.
