10th Anniversary Edition Of Heimtextil Russia

13,856 professional visitors attended the 10th international trade fair for Home Textiles and Interior Furnishings Heimtextil Russia. 313 exhibitors from Australia, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Egypt, Spain, Italy, Indonesia, India, China, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, USA, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, France, Scotland, Switzerland presented their new products. The increase in the number of countries, growth of the exhibition space and visitors attending shows that Heimtextil Russia is moving in the right direction and not only presents an ideal platform for the industry of home textiles, but is also regarded as a high-quality, effective and profitable tool for business development.

With growth at a constant fast pace, Heimtextil Russia also has a high level of professional exhibitors and visitors. The keen interest of key market players and specialized press towards the trade fair show that Heimtextil Russia is developing in the right direction. Heimtextil Russia continues to put more effort into making the fair an even more effective and productive platform for its clients. The hard-driving business program, professional advertising campaign and elaborate approach to the concept of the fair are the keys to success.

Heimtextil Russia helps to broaden the horizons of creativity and design, as well as using new ideas to break through stereotypes.The tendencies in interior design were presented by Claudia Herke, European design studio bora.herke stilbuero. The business program of the trade fair was of great interest and well attended. International design and fashion expert Svetlana Begovatova presented the issues devoted to the tendencies of 2008-2010 in interior design, conceptual approach to interior design, international tendencies in home fashion, up-to-date styles and colour palettes. Svetlana also held seminars on Interior textile in fashion: colours, textures, patterns, finishings and reviewed the collections from Italy, France, Japan and other countries. Such up-to-date topic as eco-housing was also touched upon. Svetlana discussed different ecological projects, interiors, eco-textiles and commented on international experiences of creating eco-homes.

As part of the the business programme, various seminars and presentations were held. For instance, the company Dallary-Green Forest presented "Decorative Interior Textiles". Capital-Consulting Interregional Holding offered visitors a seminar focusing on "Boosting sales". Christian Lundwall, a famous Swedish Architect and Designer, known for the interior design of such hotels as Rezidor Hotel Group and Best Western Premier, as well as Radisson SAS hotel now under construction in Moscow, presented a seminar on chain hotel design. Rogier van der Heide, lighting designer and head of the Arup lighting company, is responsible for numerous architectual and interior lighting projects of buildings all over the world, such as the lighting of the Louis Vuitton boutique which received the award "for perfection" from IALD in the category "trade centres", also presented his seminar.
