The Fair with a new Exhibition Programme in 2009

New events will be added to the major exhibitions organized by International Fair Plovdiv in 2009. The programme begins with the International Agricultural Exhibition AGRA from 18 to 22 February 2009. The new section here is BioAgra, which is to attract certification companies granting the Eco-label to farms and products.

This label is a guarantee for the raw material and products safety and provides export advantages within the EU. The certification companies are registered at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. In addition the participants will showcase the latest developments in organic agriculture and stockbreeding.

After a short break returns the International Finance Exhibition BANKS INVESTMENTS MONEY, 4 - 6 March 2009.

The Gourmet Salon is the new aspect in the International Exhibition of Vine-Growing and Wine-Producing VINARIA, whose 17th edition is to be held from 18 to 23 March next year. Exhibits will cover fine food and quality products to match with the wines and spirits, such as meat delicatessen and seafood, cheeses and dairy products, chocolate and sweets, pipe tobacco and cigars, etc., thus expanding Vinaria's exhibition range.

The International Education Fair will take place on 27 and 28 March and the International Exhibition NATURE, HUNTING, FISHING is launched on 1 April. The new feature is the hunting trophies exhibition, which will be organized every year with international participation. Making it part of the event was agreed with the State Forestry Agency during the Fifth National Trophy Exhibition held with great success in Pavilion 7 from 29 October to 2 November 2008.

The International Consumer Goods and Technologies Fair takes up the period from 12 to 17 May 2009. A new International Exhibition of Construction Materials, Machines and Technologies Stroytech-Spring is to be launched within the Spring Fair. A Book Exhibition is scheduled within the Arts Salon IMPRESSIA. During the preparation for the fair special attention will be paid to the traditional international exhibitions: BOATS & SPORTS EXPO - yachts, boats, water sports and equipment; DOMTECH - household appliances; MEBELTECH - furniture, building materials, machines and technologies; TEXMODE - textile, clothing, leather goods, machines and technologies; FOODTECH - food products, machines and technologies; COSMETICS - perfumery and cosmetics. Further developed will be the Specialized Salon of Equipment for Hotels, Restaurants, Cafeterias and Commercial Facilities HORECA, BUSINESS CONSULTING and the Exhibition of the Municipalities in Bulgaria, which already has attracted international participation.

PrintCom will be held from 2 to 6 June. The International Exhibition of Printing Communications will be accompanied with the one-of-a-kind International Fair Poster Competition organized in partnership with UFI - The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, and the National Corporate Calendar Competition.

Partner Country of the 65th edition of the International Technical Fair, 28 September - 3 October 2009, will be Hungary, whose participation was agreed even before AUTUMN 2008.

In the second half of 2009 the Exhibition Programme continues with the International Exhibition of Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmaceutics and Balneology MEDICUS, DENTO, GALENIA, the Specialized Exhibition of SPA and Wellness Tourism and the International Congress on Restorative Dentistry. Organized twice a year – in spring and autumn, are the Specialized Exhibition of Flowers, Ornamental Plants, Garden Equipment and Supplies, the International Dog Shows and the Italian Festival of Beauty and Hair-Style. The Pets Fair ZOO REVIEW will take place from 30 October to 1 November 2009. Traditionally, the annual programme will end up with the Christmas Sale in December.
