The Madrid Boat Show 2009

The Madrid Boat Show, which is organised by IFEMA, will stage its eleventh edition between 11th and 15th March 2009 at Feria de Madrid, featuring an important exhibition that will bring together all the latest new features on the recreational boating market, based on the participation of the boat-builders within the Spanish sector and a number of leading international companies. In this respect, the Show has confirmed its status as an important event on the European fair circuit for the industry.

The eleventh edition of the Madrid Boat Show will build on the success of its last edition, where some 29,270 professionals and boating enthusiasts were able to admire more than 600 craft. The last edition also confirmed the considerable appeal of this trade event, attracting visitors from all over Spain, especially from Madrid and the Regions of Andalusia, Valencia, Castile- La Mancha, Catalonia, the Balearic Islands and Murcia.

We might also highlight the growing international dimension of the Show, with the event´s last edition attracting visitors from more than 25 countries, with France, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, the United Kingdom and the United States all featuring prominently. The high profile of the visitors and the high percentage of sales, combined with the Show´s role as a showcase for new features, constituted the aspects that were most highly rated at the year 2008 edition.

At the next edition, the Madrid Boat Show will once again present a highly profitable promotional forum for the participating companies, who will find the Show to be an entirely unique setting for business. Furthermore, the Show will once again highlight the leading role played by the market in Central Spain, an inland market that is becoming increasingly important in terms of the number of boating enthusiasts and their high purchasing power.

In addition to presenting an extensive range of boats in all segments, along with boating accessories, outboard motors, electronic equipment and sailing and fashion complements, the Show will also organise a comprehensive Programme of Coinciding Activities, based on the participation of a number of outstanding companies, associations and figures from the industry.

The exhibition at the next edition of the Madrid Boat Show, which will open its doors between 11th and 15th March 2009, will offer visitors a detailed insight into all the latest new features and trends on the boating market over a period of five days.
