Interiors Birmingham will yet again be providing designers, buyers and retailers alike with the perfect platform for exploring new and classic interior designs. Volume to high end and bespoke products will all be on display for the 2009 event, once again securing the show as THE must-attend trade exhibition for all those involved in the interiors industry.

The Interiors Hub is once again set to be an unmissable hive of activity, designed to meet all your business enhancing needs. New for 2009, The Hub, situated in Hall 2, includes Unique Trend Forecasts, The Material Lab, Designers Block, Design Britain, The Seminar Theatre and Young Designers 2009.

The 2009 event will not only look at future market trends, but also consider classic British designs that have stood the test of time with the return of Design Britain. Now in its fourth year, Design Britain will be showcasing work by some of the UK's leading designers from the 1930s to present day including, Robin & Lucien Day, Earnest Race, Kenneth Grange, Jasper Morrison, Ed Barber & Jay Osgerby as well as new talents Ed Carpenter and Alexander Taylor.

This year's show also welcomes the addition of two new high-end halls, located all together for the first time, that are sure to dazzle visitors upon entry to the show. Hall 1 will host the high end classic designs, Hall 2 will feature high end modern interior products and the Pavilion will host Design Interiors, a stunning feature-packed area set to entice and inspire all who visit.

In addition to these features, an exciting list of seminar speakers has been lined up for the 2009 event, including Michelle Ogundehin, Editor-in-Chief, from the prestigious Elle Decoration who will be presenting a seminar on "Consumer trends, how to spot the next big thing". Another key speaker this year is Charlie Browne, Environmental Manger at IKEA, who will be presenting "Low price but not at any price", a valuable seminar summarising IKEA's work on environmental issues. Charlie has worked in the environmental field for 10 years and has been instrumental in increasing the store's recycling levels to 76%.

Interiors Birmingham 2009 takes place from the 18-21 January at the NEC. It will also feature the very latest offerings for the mid to volume market in Hall 3, with Soft Furnishings, Furnishing Accessories, and mixed volume furniture in Halls 4 and 5. Hall 9 will feature a display from the UK's largest gathering of lighting manufacturers and suppliers.
