“Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008” ready to kick off

Ho Chi Minh Citywill be hosting the biggest ever stand-alone plastics and rubber technologies and materials trade show, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008, on October 21-23 this year. The event is set to address the manufacturing needs of entrepreneurs and industrialists in Vietnam and its neighbouring countries in the region, and reinforce their export potential of plastic and rubber products. Cutting-edge technologies, the latest improvements in machinery and equipment, innovative solutions and services will make this an essential show to visit.

It will provide a window for aerospace, automotive, precision engineering, electrical and electronics, furniture, medical & healthcare, household goods, packaging, leisure goods, building and construction as well as contract and sub-contracting manufacturing sectors in Vietnam to access the latest plastics, rubber and precision engineering technologies available in the global market.

Additionally, industry networking and knowledge sharing can be made through a series of seminars, workshop, and round table discussion that should not to be missed. An insightful conference programme lineup will be an ideal platform for ideas exchange, technology update and business networking between stakeholders in the manufacturing sectors.

Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008 is a timely and relevant event as it is in line with Vietnam's goals to raise the bar in manufacturing excellence. Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008will bring together some 197 exhibitors from 20 countries around the world including Austria, Germany, Italy, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. Participating industry leaders include Arburg, Basell, Krauss Maffei, Lotus Chemical Technology, Nissei ASB, and SABIC, to name a few, will provide visitors with insights on international growth strategies and technology challenges that are shaping their business.

This year' event is expected to attract more than 6,500industry trade buyers. Plastics & Rubber Vietnam 2008 is jointly organised by Bangkok Exhibition Services, members of Allworld Exhibition members, and Messe Düsseldorf, organisers of K Fair, the No.1 international trade fair for plastics and rubber. The local partner for the event is VCCI Exhibition Service, part of the Vietnam Chamber of commerce and Industry.
