Paperworld China 2008

Over 650 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions will join Paperworld China 2008, proving its continuing importance for the global stationery and office supplies industry. Durable, Novus, World Wide Stationery, Deli, Comix are just some of the brands that will be joining the show, which is scheduled to run 27 – 29 November 2008 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. A massive 50% of the exhibitors confirmed are first time suppliers, retailers and distributors to the event. Hong Kong brand World Wide Stationery, the world's largest manufacturer of metal ring binders will showcase their products on this year's largest booth of over 250 sqm.

Another returning exhibitor, Deli Group, a leading manufacturer of stationery products from the Zhejiang region, also applauds the Paperworld China event. Mr Chen Xue Qiang commented on the success of the fair. "We participated in the launch of Paperworld China in 2005 as we believed that Messe Frankfurt represented the highest level of professionalism in trade fair organisation.

During the last three years, our faith in this event has only grown as we have witnessed the rapid growth of this show. The size of the show has been expanding, and the quality and the quantity of both visitors and exhibitors are increasing. Participating in this event guarantees that Deli can promote their brand to wide range of industry professionals from around the globe."

As one of the biggest players in the Chinese domestic market for office and stationery products, Mr. Chen explained how the fair is a great platform for global industry professionals to learn about the Chinese market. "Doing business in China is quite different from the global market. An event like Paperworld China will help professionals gain invaluable insight into their targeted markets so that they can position their products correctly and strategically across the Chinese region."

Visitors can expect to see classic items such as writing instruments, pencil sharpeners, writing pads, folders, wrapping paper, and other stationery articles on 45,000 square meters of space, covering four exhibitions halls. Many office product items such as staplers, bulletin boards, binding machines and shredding machines will also be showcased this year. Artists' materials, hobby products and gift items have been added to this year's trade fair.

In conjunction with providing a platform which exhibitors can promote their brand and products, this year's Paperworld China will offer an array of informative events. Speakers from a wide range of backgrounds will lead relevant seminars with the most up-to date information.

Additionally, there will be a variety of awards given to the most favorite products on-site as judged by VIP buyers in China. As well as the return of the prestigious OPI China Awards, which are the regions foremost business awards programme for the office products industry and judged by a panel of senior international executives.
